Sorry for the poor amount of new post this last few days but I'm quiet busy!

One of the reason why is because my good friend (and manager) Bautista and I are now promoting an new weekly party called FAYABASH RADIO!
It's taking place at the Loft Café (the new place to be in Lausanne) every Thursday, I'm trying to please everyone, playing Hip Hop, Reggae, Punk Rock and different Electronic oriented joints...

So if you are looking for new sounds and have fun, your welcome evry Thursday at the Loft Café, Bel Air, Lausanne from 23h00...

NINE NIGHTS is the name of a new T-Shirt that Fayabash released, it was designed by my good friend AM & printed by DTRP...

We were like ok, it's always nice to release a new design and make a T-Shirt with it but let's do something special, and we did......
Fayabash asked me to put out a Promotional MIX CD to go with the shirt! We sat down together with AM and talked about the design and the music and blblabalbla.... And he came up with this:

Some kind of Tribal Mask, I immediatly loved it... And the great thing is that this design fit perfectly the music I picked up for the cd (you get me?)

woke up late, couldn't find any source of fire to light up my cigarette (had to do it with the toaster), left the house in a rush, my throat was kinda hitching me so I spit on the floor just in front of my house, the street was empty but this lady coming out of nowhere in her car saw me and start to curse me like: "you ain't got no respect, fucking pork, you idiot with no education, blalbalabalabala....."

I was like controlling my self and decided to continue walking without answering but she kept on yelling at me like "you proud of yourself, you jerk, bblblalalaba"

YES bloggers and bloggettes... Been busy this past three weeks, and didn't had the time to upload new stuffs on the blog but i'm back to let you know few new stuffs....

First thing first... I'm the PROUD father of my little boy MATEO, who was born 30th of September.... I won't upload any pics of him since he didn't ask me to...But trust me he's already the best!!

Second thing....My main man Bautista aka El Prezidente aka Mateo's godfather is now the happy tender of the LOFT CAFE in Lausanne... The place is new, new people working there, new stuffs to eat, FREE ENTRY and new music to listen to...What else do you guys need mmh?

The bar is open from tuesday to saturday and I'm mixing there EVERY THURSDAY for the weekly parties called "Can I Kick (h)its?", a mix of the best of everything...from Rap to Rock Music passing thru Electronic shits...

Saturday we had a good Fixed Gear ride around the Leman's lake with the homies!! We left from Lausanne and rode till Evian...

We left at nine in the morning after dealing with the last set ups...

After 45 minutes of ride we decided to stop in Montreux to have a coffee...

Then we were ready for the best part of the trip! It's fucking nice to ride by the lakeside between Montreux et Le Bouveret!! If you're in the area with your bike, make shure to have a little trip... there is a big natural park closed to cars and full of nice road to ride in peace!!

After this nice dinner we left the place quick because the storm was coming and we had a few more kilometers to kill before reachin' to Evian... We reached the place just in time to take the boat back home!

Saturday, me and the Soldia crew were invited to play for BID Sound 4th b-day party... Vinz, Flamingo and Camah J were just coming back from Jamaica so had a good argument to party...

We all met up at the venue to start the fire...

after a few beers we got in and I immediatly noticed this Adams Familly flipper... so sick!

I had to try it...

I ordered few more beers since we had them for free, but the bartender refused to serve me when we finished to play... Not cool! Here you go, a donkey face just for you!!

...After our friends from Kronic Sound, it was our time to play, but when we stepped on the scene (and heard the hoochies screaming), I suddenly realized that we were drunk...

We still mashed up the place, Vinz were so hot that he showed everybody the new dance steps he learnt in Jamaica...

The place was packed up with younger people than us but we still had a good time... Big up to all the massives in the building!

The dance ended at 2 so we crawled to the LOFT with Vinz to continue the party... As soon as I got in, Ron the Boss hooked me up with some free drinks.......... I was wasted!

I was not the only one, Medi8 was high too! Big up yourself!!

In the middle of the crowd, I sudddenly noticed this girl wearing those awful leather pants with some Blade looking boots! I had to shot her.. She didn't appreciate my paparazzi ways but fuck it!

After this beautiful shot I dropped my digital camera on the floor and crashed it! Shit! Anyway the night was fun... Thanks to BID Crew for the invitation and big up to the whole SOLDIA click! See you friday for some new adventures...

Today was a extra cool day! I went to chill downtown with my wife and we ended in this joke shop... We tried on a lot of cool masks

TIP OF THE WEEK

1. Take a square piece of yellow crepe paper (other paper will also do). Crumple a ball of newspaper and place in the middle of the square piece.

2. Fold the crepe paper from all sides to cover the ball of newspaper and stick with tape. This will be the spider's body.

3. Keep this aside and take a long strip of orange coloured paper 3 times the width of the spider's body. At the shorter ends of the rectangle strip, cut small slits. This will make the legs of the spider.

4. Stick the strip of paper that make the legs on the taped side of the body.

5. Draw a mouth and two, three or six eyes on the untaped side of the spider's body. Use felt pens.

6. Fix an elastic or rubber band at the top of the head with tape to make the spider jump. Catch onto the other end of the elastic band, move your hand up and down, and there you have a jumping spider!

I’m always happy to discover new artists bringing something fresh in the Reggae scene, specially when the artists can sing on some good ol’ LOVERS ROCK rythm! Hi Light is one of them, I was listening some random songs on the net and this one immediatly caught my attention, the song’s called WITHOUT YOU on the RELATIONSHIP riddim (the riddim, is full of good tracks, Sean Paul’s Hold My Hand for example)… I decided to collect some more infos on Hi Light and discovered that he is not Jamaican, he comes from Saint Kitts & Nevis in the West Indies and is part of the crew called Best A Dem… That’s about it… Stay tuned, because I’m pretty shure that we will hear from him soon…

How To Look Like A Zombie

Going out like a member of the living dead can be a lot of fun. Whether during Halloween, for a "zombie crawl" through the city, at the workplace, or just to stroll around town, looking like you've just risen from the dead and have been feasting on human flesh can be a thrilling experience. This is a basic overview of an average zombie. For more gore, fake wounds and in-depth makeup/blood mixes, look elsewhere...

1. Get some makeup in the colors you want for your zombie. Usually white/grey or green tint works well (see "Things You'll Need").
Apply the base over your entire face and down your neck to get that unhealthy pallor.

2. Get directly under a light source and start using eyeshadow to accent sunken areas of your face. Find shadows and darken those a lot.
Black out your eyes completely, but keep it under control. Make it look like your eye sockets have shrunken in about an inch. Get darker towards the middle and inside corners of the eyes, making sure to accent natural shadows. (you can even try a darker gray shade; this sometimes works better for the real effect that black)
If you've got dark hair, lighten it up with baby powder.
Make fake blood. (see "Things You'll Need"). For one fluid cup (probably more than you'll ever use), do this:

1 cup of corn syrup or pancake syrup

1-2 tbsp of red food coloring (Not a cheap brand either; they don't give the right "red")

Some chocolate syrup, like the kind you put on ice cream (not a "shell" type)

A couple small drops of blue or green food coloring, for color preference

Mix well and add small amounts of water until desired consistency/smearing factor is achieved.

An alternative mix uses honey for thickness and stickiness instead of corn syrup, washing-up liquid (dish soap) (e.g. Fairy Liquid) and red and blue food coloring. The washing-up liquid helps the blood wash out of your clothes later. Play around with the ratio of honey to washing-up liquid to get the right consistency - different brands vary. Be warned, though - pine-scented dish soap isn't very tasty (voice of experience here), so if you're putting this mix in your mouth, use a minimal amount!

3. Apply fake blood. Here's the fun part, unless you get sick easily. Go nuts.
Give yourself some wounds of some kind. Dribble blood into your hairline and let it run down your face. Tilt your head and pour some in your ear, then allow it to flow out (repeat for effect). Arms, legs, hands, if you want bullet holes on you get a really black marker and draw holes on your shirt then dribble down some blood around it.
Next, the "I just got done munching on the neighbor" look. Pour a fair amount of blood into your hand, and then "eat" it, to get a nice mouth smear. Then, put some more in your mouth (this mix is non-toxic, unlike some others) and then let it dribble out of your mouth and down your chin and throat.

4. Get your costume looking right. Here's the basic steps for getting your clothes properly trashed.

Go outside and roll around in dirt. Try and find some mud and roll in it.
While applying fake blood, make sure you're messy, and get it on your clothes. This stuff runs and seeps in quite well and looks extremely convincing.
Use a knife or other pointed implement (carefully!) and rip holes into your costume.

5. Learn to act properly. Zombies are slow, stiff, dim-witted, can't talk well, if at all, and crave human flesh.
Make moaning and gasping sounds when you breathe through your mouth. It adds great effect. Your jaw should hang slack at most times. If you must make other noises, talk in gibberish or moan louder/higher. Moaning always works.
Shamble, don't walk. Lean forward and almost fall with every step. Adding a limp or dragging one leg works great as well. Swing your arms limply, like you don't ever use them.
When passing people, growl or groan at them and wave your arms. Some higher-level zombies tend to moan for "BRAINS!!!" as well.

Be stupid. The average zombie has an IQ barely above freezing temperature. They will run into walls, trip, fall, and can't work with their hands.

6. Cleanup. Oh, yes, the lame part when you're finished.
First of all, take a shower. Make sure you put your clothes somewhere that they won't get something else ruined. This blood mixture will usually come off pretty quickly with hot water, but make sure you scrub down and wash your hair several times. If you have light hair, it might get stained.
If you're not throwing your clothes away, put them in the washer by themselves. Usually the blood will wash out.

Make sure to clean out the tub, wipe up the sink, and double-check to make sure your mom won't think you've slit your wrists...

Sometimes life is hard, you have to wake up and go to work even if you tired the fuck! Most of the times, your boss doesn't allow you to take a little nap at your work place and you feel like your day will last forever... Here is a good tip for you...

Take a black pen and draw fake eyes on your eyelids... For a better FX, you can also paint the pupil with some blue, green or brown... You ready for the nap now... Sit at your place, close your eyes and sleep... Your boss will think that you're working eyes wide open!!

Yesterday party was sick and crazy! We were celebrating SOLDIA SOUND 6th anniversary... To make it big my man Arnaud designed a collector box including 6 of our mixtapes, a fanzine and a Tee, the party started nice and easy with some white wine and we tried to sell some of the boxes...
